hi everyone,

Next week is "Open Data for Development Camp 2012", Wednesday and
Thursday in Nairobi, Friday in Amsterdam (linked events)

We'll have people from several initiatives for citizen engagement and
around mapping and reporting, and look at transparency, accountability,
privacy and security around open data.

The event in Nairobi is also part of The Kenya Open Data Pre-Incubator
Program, and is organised by ICT Board Kenya, Kenya Open Data
Initiative, Open for Change, World Bank, NaiLab, iLAB, Akvo, 1%CLUB,
Hivos, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, and Development
Gateway.

The event in Amsterdam focuses on "open development" as a new paradigm,
and adoption of IATI within the NGO sector.

See http://openforchange.info for more info, registration, etc!

Kind regards,
--Rolf

APC Forum is a meeting place for the APC community - people and
institutions who are or have been involved in collaboration with
APC, and share the APC vision - a world in which all people have easy,
equal and affordable access to the creative potential of information and
communication technologies (ICTs) to improve their lives and create more
democratic and egalitarian societies.
