Evans,
If the Data Protection Bill lacks depth, suggest ways of improving it.  What the Government did was to produce a draft legislation.  The responsibility of making great lies with all of us.  Remember we discussed it it this forum as well as two stakeholder conferences before we sent it to CIC.  CIC also has been consulting various stakeholders.  If it fails to meet the desired outcomes then we have all failed.

Government needs fair criticism that aims to build.  This is the spirit of the constitution.
