Fake things pay, enrich "proprietors", hurt genuine businesses and could impact the health/well-being of the people.

The recent airing in NTV on how ARVs find their way into alcohol is a case in point. In many Kenyan joints one can buy what appears to be legitimate John Walker/Viceroy/etc and complete with KBS stamp.

And as a nation of kitu kidogo, we may never see the end of this soon.
