[kictanet] Connected.Go.Ke - Appreciation & Questions

Anyone who tried to communicate with the Kenyan government in the 90's or
earlier will appreciate what connected.go.ke is trying to do.

Some questions under #connectedke went unanswered. Here are two.

(i) Can IT firms which win go.ke automation tenders, report, without losing
out, bad public officials who obstruct go.ke automation?

The late John Michuki prove, you will have quicker implementation of
solutions where less corruption & more ethics are practiced.

ERP's may improve revenue collection, but without CRM's, poor citizen
service will continue.

ERP's / CRM's will help gauge organizational performance - who or what is
promoting or hindering integrity, efficiency, liquidity, courtesy, etc.

(ii) How much $$ do we need on average, per annum, per police station, to
provide working transport & technology to make Kenyan police more
accessible?

With increasing threats to national security, this is no doubt a pressing
issue.
