This is a good angle to take. In fact, I don't think we do enough collaboration with our Diaspora, business included. Scholars are ahead of the game and have long done collaborative projects (especially research and exchange - related) with Kenyan counter parts.
NB: I am surprised, though, that yours has been the only response from participants on the list.

Many thanks for this i think the issue of linkages is key, could we explore the issue of having our brothers in diaspora look at ways of partnering with local firms even if it means registering entities where they are to assist in marketing our the firms out there, with the web, this could be a good strategy of pushing ourselves out there.
