I agree with Ndemo. Many visit Rwanda and come back saying how clean it is.
They forget citizens in Rwanda are forced to do communal clean up every
month. The same people will not even volunteer to clean up their home
environs.

This is all you need in life. The rest you can do. It is often argued
that India's development amidst dirt and democracy is more sustainable than
China. Creativity thrives in freedom. We may be dirty now but our freedom
enables us to be more innovative.

neighbour's mother when the responsibility to make us better lies in all of
us. Residents of Avenue Park created there own rules to make the estate
clean and a better place to live in. It is several years since they started
and the place remains clean. It all begins with one individual then the
rest follow. It is not all lost for Kenya. We shall figure it out from a
multi stakeholder point of view that when one falls a thousand are left to
move us forward.

system. Africa must wake up to this reality for when we do not have that
strong character in the driver's seat, we must be able to wake up, relate to
one another and face the world in chorus.
