Good stuff from Aki... to add some more..

Local content in Kenya, Africa generally is primarily & pragmatically going
to be reality TV.. hopefully not the Big Brother Africa kind of sleaze.

Take court proceedings for example.. In 1991, via CNN, millions of us around
the world, followed e going the OJ Simpson trial / circus. We gathered a
good idea about what really happened even though "reasonable doubt" won the
day.

More recently was the Casey Anthony trial on TV...

We need that with all the vice going on in Kenya.. It is no doubt a legal
issue -- for parties in court not to comment in public about their matters
in court -- but especially for cases involving theft of public funds /
utilities -- we should be able to see / hear about the evidence -- whether
real or manufactured - presented in court for or against them..

More potential witnesses could show up with more evidence after hearing or
seeing court proceedings. Those with relatives intimidated or taken out for
being witnesses would have an idea who likely harmed their loved ones.

Criminals who use legal loopholes to escape justice -- will still be marked
-- for isolation not extermination - by civil society!
