9,999 - the newly launched Internet Everywhere 21MBps modem from Orange
is at 6,999/- 

For the price range you are referring to, what we have that compares in
speed is our Internet Everywhere 3G + modems which we retail at Kshs
2,999 inclusive of 1 week free of unlimited internet.

Did I read 7000 bob for a modem as affordable? Waow - all the best with
that.

Last i checked, safaricom modem was going for about 2500.

also confirmed that these rates would be applicable across all its
internet platforms.
Another first for the market was the launch of a 3G shared broadband
Wi-Fi router - Business Broadband which enables 6-10 users to connect to
the internet at the same time, via a plug and play device. The Business
Broadband becomes the first available wireless router in the market that
is compatible to both GSM and CDMA networks and works on both Windows
and Mac based operating systems.

Orange, which currently has the highest number of wireless broadband
subscribers, unveiled its new Internet Everywhere modem that offers
speeds of upto 21Mbps that will retail at a most affordable price of
Kshs 6,999/-.  Customers will also have the ability to manage and
control internet abuse through the newly launched parental control
software that can be downloaded free of charge from the Orange portal.
