[kictanet] Global 'missed call' scam

Hi

I got a missed call from +423662691883  at 7:04am this morning.

Being the paranoid Kenyan ;-) that I am, I first Googled for the
country code and the result was "Liechtenstein". One of those coutries
the skip on the map. I also learnt that the number has been used for a
'missed call' scam where you'd lose airtime and more.

1. Are our networks protecting consumers from such 'known threats'?

2. How does the scam work?
