There is a lot to celebrate for the visit by sir Tim. His presence and discussions with the those I have mentioned earlier and Minister , Deputy Speaker and the CEO Kenya ICT Board raised the discussion on the power of the web to high level. In all the sessions one issue always posed is the future of the web, if he was to re-invent the web whether what he would change etc . he was candid and this is significant in our planning
KICTANet would like to thank PS Ndemo, CCK DG Mr Njoroge, KICTB CEO Mr Kokubo ,the British High Commission , TESPOK Chair Mr Bedi and Strathmore University for the support and contributions that made the trip the success it was

So was Sir Tim's visit a success or not? Did it put Kenya 'on the map' in any way? Was it beneficial? Would we like more of such visits despite some of the bad international press we havew had? Fellow Listers, dont we have something to celebrate? Nyaki
