News is in: NAIROBI HAS BEEN CHOSEN FOR THE MARCH 2010 ICANN AFRICA
MEETING!!!!!

Congratulations to you all Kenyan mates! We look forward to see you in
Nairobi – it should be a great jol!

And if I may (Vincent knows this any way), during AfTLD Tanzania in April,
we agreed with .ke and .ng that whoever will win the ICANN bid will also
host the 2010 AfTLD Annual conference (the week before ICANN)!

Vincent, I assume the agreement still stands, and can we now announce the
2010 AfTLD Nairobi meeting then?

Once again, I’m so happy for you guys! And I hope you do congratulate .ng
for also putting in a very competitive bid. Your competition with them (as
far as I’m aware) was carried out with dignity, respect and comradeship that
we need to see more in Africa. Let’s hope .ng gets the 2012 Africa round.

Regards,
