[kictanet] Kenya ranked among least peaceful states

The perception that Kenya is not peaceful and is unsafe is completely true
and hampers the development of the country. Last Saturday night at 7:30pm,
our house and office in Likoni were robbed by a gang of youth. We lost
everything down to the toiletries in our bathroom. All of our equipment used
to serve the community was stolen. Crime is on the rise in Kenya due to the
lack of opportunities and it will be the youth who want something better who
suffer. As for us, we are looking for new options. Maybe we will stay in
Kenya, but not without plenty of armed security.
