Operating in today's globalized economy is risky business. The private
sector
has identified a need to take the initiative in addressing global challenges
that impact their business as much as the societies in which they operate.

they are doing so in the absence of clear legislation or clear and

global frameworks. This conference will pinpoint the role private business
can
and should play in shaping tomorrow's global governance structures, and
suggest
corresponding adjustments required by the public sector.

Private Sector Roles in Combating Corruption: Setting One's Own Standards
Business Contributions to achieving the Millennium Development Goals

As a lead up to the Forum, a Global E-discussion for young leaders will take
place from September 24 to October 5, 2007.
