Those were taken in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.  The good news is
that a significant portion of what's being hauled out of the way of that
big restaurant stove is fiber, rather than copper, and that there are
seven competing fiber providers in the city, with very low prices and
aggressive installation schedules.
