Many thanks Walu for setting the ball rolling Jaco and James make equally
interesting interventions. From a laymans perspective in class one i would
like to teach the child to pay attention as well as have some structured
way of thinking and solving problems as such the child should
a) Be able to listen
b) Be able to engage in problem solving
c) Be able to communicate his thoughts and idea from mind to paper or any
other platform
We also need to have in mind the short attention span of the child and look
at ways of making the lessons more exciting. Jaco could you kindly expound
on your answers, they sound very insightfull.
